YUI FUJINAGA
STATEMENT
Born in Hiroshima, 1981. Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design in 2006.
Yui Fujinaga has been creating paintings on paper or cloth mainly using acrylic with humans, especially children – as her major motifs. She doesn’t just paint what she actually sees. She expresses what she feels or is inspired by from things that happened in the world or her personal life through mainly group figures of humans.
Received silver medal at “GEISAI#7” in 2005.
